A young Gypsy girl (Ahikuntaka) from a remote village in the Anuradhapura district. They are one among the isolated and vanishing tribes of Sri Lanka. She earns a living by reading your palm and foretelling your fortunes.

Hi entrpy, like all gypsy communities in the world these people lead a nomadic life. But due to urbanisation, economic pressure, and political motives these people are being resettled and being absorbed into the main stream. While the older generation hold on to their way of life, the younger generation are more likely to renounce the old ways of life and their practices.
