The Arishta-crat


Long live the Vedha mahatthaya. This photo was taken minutes before the medicine shop was open. The Vedha mahatthya had gone to have a cup of tea to a shop nearby leaving his bicycle behind. I never met him. I'll catch him next time around.

This is a fantastic picture, I love the way you have captured the moment - this picture can relate to many stories and get my imagination going and at the same time feel a bit depressed about being away from the motherland. Some times in life you really do miss the smaller things!

Well, you know what they say. The universe is in your mind. so if you close your eyes, take a deep breath and travel. You might just smell the herbs & roots boiling in the pot. If that doesn't work we'll have to send you a pack of Kasaya.
